2001.01.22 - First Model Release
This is the 3rd Generation in the HONDA classic styled family. From
"Giorino",
"Crea
Giorino ", to this "Crea
SCOOPY". The new 4-Stroke Liquid-Cooled engine was designed
in June 1999 for "Crea Giorino" with SHOC 2-Valves liquid-cooled
engine, and a new Fuel-sipping constant-velocity (CV) carburetor helps
you use less fuel while idling or running at slower speeds, automatic
cam-chain tensioner requires virtually no maintenance with ultra-quiet
exhaust system.
The Two-Piece Die Cast Aluminum Chassis provides an optimum balance
and rigidity for excellent handling. The CBS Brake System gives you
smoother and shorter stopping distance for novice riders. The classic
retro style will catch people's eyes while you're riding.

The handling is the best when competing with YAMAHA Vino 2-Stroke,
or Vespa ET2, ET4. 90/90-10 tires give you a smoother riding feel.
Although you can not ask much from a 50cc 4-Stroke 2-Valves engine,
the maximum speed is around *65km/hr
(2004 model) on flat ground. The up-side is liquid-cooled engine can
operate more non-stop hours than air-cooled, but back to the down
side, you will spend more money on tune-up and repairs. The body panels
are dyed plastic, unlike other scooter's painted surfaces, so your
less likey to notice small scratches. The ball shape head light is
a really nice and cute design.
There are NOT many available parts to upgrade the engine performance.
Maximum Speed is around *82km/hr (2004
model) on the flat ground after upgraded
Transmission, CDI, and Tires. The average retail price for this scooter
in North America should be around USD $1,700 ~ $1,850 plus applicable
taxes only.
